Shoh & Tell

Hey, look what Shohreh Aghdashloo is bringin' home. She won it last night at the Emmys, somewhat out of the blue.

And, golly, she's always bringin' it home - from "House of Sand and Fog" to the "House of Saddam."

Mrs. Aghdashloo sported a green wristband in support of the #IranElection movement, and in this post-show press conference elaborated about issues as if doing an intro on Jaam-e-Jam.

That still might not appease the soosools who created this idiotic Facebook Group, which takes aim at her and anyone else who didn't walk along their imaginary partisan political lines during the frenzy. (Even protesting at the UN during this time.) Because nothing is more Iranian than a bunch of jealous reactionaries who bask in self-loathing and want to shoot other people down. These bandwagon-hopping fools haven't done anything near what she's done the past 30-plus years in both raising awareness of injustices over in Iran while raising the profile of Iranian-Americans here.
