Jaanvieh is for Lovers

If you haven't noticed, your trusty narrator Mister Vizard has temporarily set up shop on the east coast. So this month I'll be bringing you interesting sidebar stories from New York City to Washington DC.

There's a big moving out sale down at the Casa Blanca on January 20th, and over at the New York Times Dot Com there is this weird slideshow story on Atlanta-based real estate developer Fred Milani.

Because we all have a family friend named Feredoon who's an architect, right?

I haven't seen an old-school Irooni man surround himself with that much Old Glory since the last time I ate at Shamshiri Restaurant in northern Virginia -- not affiliated with the Shamshiri in Vestvood -- which is located close to the grossly overly-funded CIA headquarters.

One person from the Bush White House that we hate to see leave, however, will be Goli Ameri, who for the past year was in charge of the State Department's grossly under-funded Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
