With the music industry in shambles, former Island Records VP Hooman Majd is now a writer, and to promote his new book The Ayatollah Begs to Differ the always charming Mr. Majd made his way to The Daily Show:



Meanwhile over at the Hammer Museum, they hosted a Q&A between a couple of "experts" of contemporary Middleastern geopolitics. One was Robert Baer, author of the book which the film "Syriana" was based upon. And across the table was Trita Parsi, head of the Capitol Hill-based National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), who has just released his own new book.
